How to participate in the competition?
When you are not sure if your photo is good enough you can always post it on our Facebook group page and ask.
Free Entry Available
Every photographer receives ONE FREE ENTRY per round in each category.
To claim your free entry:
- Submit your photo with all requirements listed at https://mcpawards.com/
participate/ - Write "FREE PARTICIPATION And Your Name and Surname and round" in your email subject line.
ONE PHOTO FEE
Enter into the payment, choose number of photos you want to send to the competition, purchase the entry fee, then send photos via email.

You can send as many pictures as you want and participate in the MCP Awards.
- Your digital images must have 1920 pixels on the longest side.
- Your images must be saved with 150 dpi to ensure a fast upload experience.
- Images can be colored in RGB, Adobe-1998 or B/W.
- Prepare files without any watermarks or logos.
- We do not accept graphics created by AI. ONLY AI's backdrops as part of the photo in the Fine Art category! When submitting, you must write to the jury if the backdrop was created with AI. Otherwise the photo will be disqualified.
- In the file name put: name_surname_category_01.jpg
- In the email, provide a link to your instagram profile.
- You will receive an email from us, which confirms your successful submission of your pictures. Those photos which will pass to the second stage of the competition will be promoted on our Instagram. And at the end of the round will be under JURY voting.
- PLEASE BE AWARE THAT NOT ALL OF THE PHOTOS WILL PASS TO ANOTHER STAGE OF THE COMPETITION. IF THEY WON’T BE GOOD ENOUGH YOU WILL RECEIVE FEEDBACK WITH THE EXPLANATION.
New Competition Requirements
To ensure MCPA remains a genuine photography competition and to prevent AI-generated submissions, we now require:
- Both your final edited photograph AND the original camera file (RAW/JPEG as captured).
- This verification applies to all entries.
New Permanent Categories in 2026:
- animals
- portraits
Instagram Promotion Changes
We’re shifting our promotion strategy to better support YOUR visibility:
- First-stage photos will no longer be published on our Instagram.
- When your photo advances to the second stage, we'll notify you directly.
- You can then post it on your own Instagram account and tag us as a collaborator.
- This promotes your work from your personal platform, building your own audience.

The MCPA Awards competition, in the form you’ve known it, is coming to a close.
The Spring 2026 round will not open, and the accreditation programme is being retired. This isn’t a goodbye to MCPA — it’s a deliberate choice to give your photography even more room to breathe, in the place where it truly comes alive: on the pages of the magazine.
MCPA Magazine stays with you, and will be published every 3 months. This is your stage — a place where the world gets to see your work. No rivalry, no scoring. Just full respect for what you create.
And here’s the best part: your work can still be featured.
Keep sharing your photographs in our Facebook group — just as you have for the past 6 years. That’s exactly where we’ll be looking, selecting and promoting the images that go on to appear in MCPA Magazine. Your frames, seen by a wide, international community. To everyone who earned the title of MCPA Master and MCPA Professional — that title is yours, forever. You are part of MCPA’s story, and nothing will ever change that. We couldn’t be prouder of you. 
So we ask just one thing: stay with us. Keep posting the images that matter to you — the ones you’re proud of, the ones that tell your story. The magazine is made for you, and from you.

0-99 years old of the models as long as the photo is related to the CHILDHOOD and FAMILY theme.
STUDIO
4-99 years old of the models as long as the photo is related to the family and childhood theme.
FINE ART
0-99 It is a right place for collages, photos with additional overlays, lights and any kind of photo manipulations as long as they are related to CHILDHOOD and FAMILY themes. IT IS THE ONLY CATEGORY THAT DON’T REQUIRE COMPATIBILITY WITH THE ORIGINAL RAW PHOTO FROM YOUR CAMERA.
